Localized flash flooding will be possible across West-Central GA this afternoon and evening. High rainfall rates and rounds of showers and storms in areas that received heavy rain in recent days.

Temperatures and humidity will increase over the next few days resulting in feels-like temperature approaching 100 by Sunday. Drink plenty of water and take breaks in the shade if working outdoors. #GAwx

Saturday will be mostly dry across North GA, with numerous showers and storms across Central GA. Shower and thunderstorm chances will vary by day, but remain elevated from Sunday through most of next week. Highest coverage of showers and thunderstorms will be during the afternoons and evenings.
