Multiple pushes of cold air are expected from Wednesday night through the weekend, bringing high and low temperatures 5-15 degrees below average.

Wednesday night into Thursday morning will bring the chance for light snow showers in the north Georgia mountains. Accumulations up to 0.5 inch are possible on elevated surfaces and grassy areas (with greater totals at elevations above 2000 feet) and roads may become slick. Flurries may occur as far south as the I-20 corridor but would not amount to any accumulations.
