Radar loop of Georgia.
Drought conditions continue to worsen across Georgia, with D2 (Severe) to D4 (Exceptional) drought conditions expanding across the entire state. In the 26 year history of the U.S. Drought Monitor in Georgia, this is the first time this has been observed. While a wetter pattern with regular rain chances is expected over the coming weeks, significant improvement to drought conditions appears to be unlikely.
A system moving across the Southeast will bring rainfall to the area today through Saturday.
Here are the forecast low temperatures and precipitation chances for tonight.
Here are the forecast high temperatures and precipitation chances for tomorrow.
