Last Map Update: Sun, Apr 19, 2026 at 1:20:21 am EDT

Dry vegetation, low relative humidity, and gusty winds will lead to critical fire weather conditions on Sunday across north and central Georgia. A Red Flag Warning is in effect for these areas. Outdoor burning is strongly discouraged, as fires could get out of control.
A cold front will bring showers and potentially storms to parts of north and central Georgia tonight through Sunday morning. Rainfall is unlikely to exceed around a quarter inch (with the exception of far northwest Georgia), which is not nearly enough to put a dent in the drought.
Dry conditions persist through next week, worsening drought conditions and leading to daily fire weather concerns.
Here are the forecast low temperatures and precipitation chances for tonight.
Here are the forecast high temperatures and precipitation chances for tomorrow.
