Following some much needed rainfall, drier and cooler weather returns to round out the work week. Temperatures Thursday and Friday night will likely dip near or below freezing areawide. Any rainfall looks to hold off until early next week.
Cooler and dry weather will move in for Thanksgiving with clear skies.
Drought update for this week shows an expansion of Severe Drought (D2) across central GA since last week, with most of Georgia within some level of drought status. Exceptional drought (D4) conditions also expanded across parts of southern GA.
