Models are favoring a very strong Arctic high pressure moving into the eastern half of the country, though how far south cold air gets is still somewhat uncertain. Very cold air may begin to impact the area as early as Friday evening and stick around through the weekend.
Tonight/early Monday, Thursday, and Friday will bring showers across at least parts of north and central Georgia. A noticeable cool-down is expected Friday into Saturday.
