Rain returns to the area between Tuesday and Wednesday. Drier and cooler conditions will follow on Thanksgiving Day through early into the weekend.

Slow-moving showers will result in beneficial rainfall especially for north Georgia Tuesday through Wednesday Night. The highest totals are likely to be confined to North Georgia (along and north of I-85).
