A line of storms is expected to push from Alabama into Northwest Georgia through the evening hours. A few storms may be strong to severe. The primary threat would be damaging wind gusts up to 60 mph, heavy rainfall, and frequent lightning

Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms will be across North and Central Georgia through late Saturday evening. Repeated rounds of heavy rainfall could lead to localized flash flooding. Rain chances will stick around through the first half of next week.
