Strengthening high pressure across the central and southern United States will bring warmer-than-average temperatures next week.
Drought conditions have expanded and/or worsened across portions of western Georgia and metro Atlanta over the last week. With very little to no rainfall expected over the next 7-10 days, drought conditions will likely worsen.
