Last Map Update: Sun, Aug 10, 2025 at 2:22:33 am EDT

Here is your outlook for the week ahead in north and central Georgia. Rain chances will peak early the week, and will be accompanied by more clouds and below average temperatures. Warmer weather and more sunshine should return by next weekend.
The sun should struggle to make an appearance early this week due to widespread cloud cover, especially during the first half of each day. The widespread cloud cover should help limit high temperatures.
Rain chances will peak early this week as a wave of tropical moisture moves through Georgia. Thunderstorms may occur at times, but severe weather is not expected.
Warmer weather, with afternoon highs in the upper 80s and lower 90s, is expected by the middle of August. While we will be warming back up in Georgia, as least the heat won't be as intense as other parts of the country.
Shown on the map are the expected low temperatures, weather conditions, and probabilities of precipitation for tonight.
Shown on the map are the expected high temperatures, weather conditions, and probabilities of precipitation for tomorrow.
