Tropical Storm Bertha has developed over the eastern Gulf. Direct impacts to north and central Georgia are not expected. This system is forecast to slowly move west across the northern Gulf over the next few days.

Interplay between moisture streaming off of Tropical Storm Bertha and a stalling frontal boundary will support training showers and thunderstorms across the northern half of the forecast area, leading to heightened chances for localized flash flooding.
