Rain chances return Sunday, but will be only isolated to scattered at best, amd primarily during the afternoon. Rain chances increase more appreciably by Wednesday as a cold front pushes into the area.

Temperatures will be on a warming trend with highs returning to the upper 80s to near 90 this weekend and remaining warm through mid week.

Long range models are favoring wetter than normal conditions for the last ~10 days of May. This does not mean it will rain every day or that there will necessarily be a period of heavy rain. However, it does suggest increased opportunities for wet weather as we head toward the end of the month. This would be very welcomed rainfall given the ongoing drought conditions across the region.
