Rain has been lacking for much of north and central Georgia this month. Atlanta is on track for the 5th driest September since records started in 1879! Several cities in the Desert Southwest have received move rainfall than Atlanta since the start of the month.
After a brief cool down this week temperatures will rebound, and are favored to be above average between October 5th and 9th. Widespread highs between the upper 70s and mid 80s are anticipated in Georgia during this time.
