A slight to moderate risk of excessive rainfall is in the forecast as multiple rounds of heavy rainfall are expected over the area Thursday into Friday. Widespread rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are forecast, with locally higher amounts possible.
The remnants of a tropical disturbance will approach the region on Thursday, bringing a risk for a few strong to severe wind gusts along with a low tornado risk.
