National Weather Service United States Department of Commerce

Mostly cloudy and warm with areas of light rain in northeast SC this morning, then scattered showers and thunderstorms dropping southeastward through the area this afternoon and evening. Any lingering showers will gradually shift out of northeast SC during the first half of the night. Expect highs mainly in the low-mid 80s, although upper 80s can occur where clouds are thin enough. With a cold front dropping southward tonight, lows are forecast to range from the mid-50s to low 60s inland and low-mid 60s near the coast. Winds that are initially light and variable this evening will see a surge of breezy northeast winds early tonight behind the cold front as cooler and drier air filters in.
