Dry and seasonably warm today, with highs ranging from the mid 80s to the upper 90s across the region. Winds will be light, generally out of the north or northeast. Expect partly cloudy skies.

The remnants of Hurricane Polo (in the Pacific Ocean) are expected to bring tropical moisture to west Texas this week, and periods of heavy rain are possible Monday night through Wednesday. This could lead to areas of flooding across the region, with a Moderate Risk of excessive rainfall across much of the South Plains. Check for future forecast updates as the expected rainfall amounts and timing of heaviest rainfall come into focus.
