Isolated showers and thunderstorms are possible tonight before midnight, the best chances being off the Caprock. Some storms could be strong to severe with winds to 60 mph and hail to one inch in diameter. Saturday will be hot with highs in the 90s to around 100.

region. This afternoon, a strike set afire a supermarket in Childress resulting in damages over $50,000. Other storms this
day produced a tornado southeast of Brownfield as reported by an employee with the town bank and hail that damaged cotton
15 miles southwest of Plainview.
