The Meteorologist-in-Charge (MIC) is the top position at every field office.
The MIC's functions:
- Make sure the office is running efficiently
- Responsible for all products and services provided to the public and Emergency Managers (EMs)
- Scheduling and personnel management
- Fill in as a forecaster if needed
