Unseasonably cool temperatures tonight under clear skies and calm winds before a warm day on Monday with increasing clouds from the west.
The threat of heavy rainfall and flash flooding will return across the region on Tuesday into Tuesday night as the next major storm system arrives next week. Given our already saturated soil conditions, flooding concerns will only be exacerbated with additional rises on area lakes and rivers also expected for next week and beyond.
In addition to the flooding rain potential, there is also a chance for some severe weather across the area. While the best chances will be across portions of deep east Texas, strong to severe storms will be possible across most of the area.
Here are the daily climate statistics for select cities across our Four State Region.
