Much of our Four-State area is highlighted in a Marginal to Slight Risk of excessive rainfall for both Tuesday and Wednesday of this upcoming week as multiple rounds of showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected. Total rainfall amounts will generally range between 2-4 inches for most areas with lesser amounts north and west of the I-30 corridor.
Showers should start developing across areas along and north of I-30 by later this afternoon. The rain, along with some embedded thunderstorms, will gradually increase in coverage and spread southeast across the region overnight tonight and into early Tuesday.
Temperatures will continue to trend cooler today and tonight in the wake of a recent cold front. However, there will still be quite a range in temperatures from north to south as rain chances will be much higher across the northwest half of the region today and especially tonight.
Here are today's climate records and averages for selected sites across our Four State Area.
