Chances are medium to high across much of the area for daytime temperatures to warm to 95 degrees or higher across much of the country. Combined with humidity, this will result in heat index values between 100 and 105 degrees.

Hot and humid conditions will continue through Tuesday. Isolated afternoon t-storms will be possible Monday across South Central Arkansas & Northeast Louisiana, with more widespread afternoon t-storms on Tuesday, mainly along and south of I-20.

From June 6 through June 10, chances are trending towards above normal temperatures and above normal precipitation for the entire NWS Shreveport forecast area.
