By far the coldest temperatures in the wake of this Winter Storm will occur tonight. Skies will clear and winds will become light. Overnight low temperatures will range from the lower single digits to the teens.
An Extreme Cold Warning remains in effect through Tuesday morning across the entire Four State Region. Dangerously cold temperatures from low single digits to the middle teens are expected.
Dangerously cold conditions are expected today and tonight, with afternoon temperatures remaining near or below freezing through the period. Temperatures tonight will plunge into the single digits to the lower teens under a mostly clear sky.
While we will rebound temperature wise eventually across the Four State Region this week, above normal temperatures are nowhere in our future at least through the upcoming weekend.
As conditions begin to slowly improve, remember that many surfaces will remain icy and slippery until temperatures get comfortably above freezing. Protect yourself from falling and potential injuries by following these tips.
