Active spring pattern across the center of our nation with several episodes of severe weather and heavy rainfall expected into next week. The potential for very large hail, long track tornadoes, severe wind gusts, frequent cloud to ground lightning strikes and flash flooding are in the outlook. Climate

There will be a threat for Severe Thunderstorms late today but especially this evening, especially near and north of the I-20 Corridor of Northeast Texas and Northern Louisiana. Large hail will be the main threat, along with damaging wind gusts. Isolated Tornadoes will also be possible.

Another warm today with increasing rain chances, especially by late this afternoon. Storms storms could be strong to severe.

Rain chances increase overnight with strong to severe thunderstorms possible, especially near and north of the I-20 Corridor. Low temperatures overnight will be near 70 degrees.
