Powerful Fall Storm Impacting The Northeast; Potential Tropical Cyclone Sixteen Forms

A powerful storm will continue to deliver strong winds, locally heavy rain, and numerous coastal hazards from the Mid-Atlantic to New England today. These winds may down trees, power lines, and cause power outages. Also, Potential Tropical Cyclone Sixteen has formed in the southwestern Gulf of Mexico.
