Warm with a chance of thunderstorms (15-30%) each afternoon-evening through Saturday. A cold front will bring increased rain and storm chances on Sunday. Dry conditions return for most of next week with temperatures back around normal.

Drier than normal weather conditions are becoming more likely for much of next week, especially across Northern Georgia. While this doesn't mean rain is completely out of the forecast, there is likely to be less opportunities for meaningful rainfall.

The latest drought condition update now has over 90 percent of Georgia in a serious drought, with over 13 percent in an exceptional drought.
