A developing storm system will spread rain across north and central Georgia today into Tuesday. Some of the rain could be heavy with rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches with locally higher amounts possible. This could cause some localized flooding of low areas as well as minor flooding of streams and rivers. A Flood Watch has been for all of north Georgia and portions of central Georgia.
A Wind Advisory has been issued for much of north and central Georgia tonight. Expect east winds of 15-25 mph gusting up to 40 mph with some higher gusts in the northern mountains.
