Pleasant weather is expected through the weekend as dry and relatively cooler conditions persist. A warm-up is expected for early to middle of next week and rainfall chances will be near zero through then.

Long-range models suggest high confidence in a return of summer-like warmth during the second half of next week into next weekend. This will mean highs in the upper 80s to lower 90s and lows in the upper 60s to lower 70s for most.

Long-range models suggest that rain chances will return to the region at the start of October. This could lead to improvements in the current Abnormally Dry (D0) to Moderate Drought (D1) conditions across the state.
