Some areas of Northeast Texas, Southeast Oklahoma and Southwest Arkansas could see excessive, heavy rainfall that could result in areas of Flash Flooding. Look for widespread rainfall amounts of 1-3 inches with isolated higher amounts through Monday Evening.
A Tornado Watch has been issued for portions of East Texas and Western Louisiana south of Interstate 20 until 7 PM CST this evening. Tornadoes, damaging winds of 60 mph or greater, and large hail potentially up to 2 inches in diameter are possible. Stay weather aware!
Severe weather remains possible across our Four-State area today & tonight. Damaging winds, large hail, and possible tornadoes will be the primary threats. Also, can't rule out some heavy rainfall and localized flooding across the area.
Quite a range of temperatures are expected today, as scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms spread into the region. Look for temperatures to range from the upper 50s north to mid/upper 70s south.
Showers and Thunderstorms will continue to shift southeastward across our Four-State area ahead of a cold front. Locally heavy rainfall and some severe weather will be possible.
