Thunderstorm coverage will increase this afternoon and evening, with a few strong storms possible later this afternoon along the I-95 corridor and across southeast GA. Stronger storms will have the potential to produce briefly gusty winds of 40-50 mph, frequent lightning strikes, and torrential downpours. Localized flooding is possible where heavier downpours persist, especially at urban locations later this afternoon.
