๐ŸŒŠ Breezy onshore winds developing during the afternoon hours will create a moderate risk of rip currents at all southeast Georgia and northeast Florida beaches this weekend. โ˜€๏ธ A warm, sunny day at the beach can turn dangerous when rip currents are present. ๐ŸŠ Only swim at a beach with on-duty lifeguards. The chance of drowning at a beach with lifeguards is 1 in 18 million.
โš ๏ธ Unseasonably dry weather is expected across much of our area through this weekend and during the early portion of next week. ๐Ÿ’งAlthough recent rainfall has reduced the long term drought severity somewhat, substantial rainfall is not expected until the middle portion of next week. ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ•๏ธ Build a defensible space!
