Moderate rip current risk for southeast GA & northeast FL beaches today.
A much wetter, stormier weather patterns Wednesday as a frontal zone meanders across the region. Showers and thunderstorms increase in coverage each afternoon. By Friday, the front shifts farther south toward NE Florida, with a chance of strong to severe storms Saturday and Sunday. Rainfall is needed, but too much too fast could lead to some localized flooding issues by the weekend.
