Local Weather History For June 30th...

1959: Two tornadoes and funnels occurred late this afternoon spanning Swisher, Hale and Castro Counties. A pilot observed
the first tornado just WNW of Tulia at 5:28 PM with another sighted seven minutes later west of Dimmitt. Neither caused
any known damage.
