Scattered showers and thunderstorms will turn more numerous later this week. The northern, western, and central mountains will be favored for thunderstorm development in the afternoons with a few storms filling into nearby valleys.
Scattered to numerous thunderstorms will favor the high terrain and nearby highlands of northern, central, and western NM this week. The heaviest rainfall is expected over western NM Thursday then over western and southeastern NM Friday.
