Strong southwest to west winds with very low humidity increases the risk of rapid fire spread over southeastern half of NM again. Locally extreme fire weather is possible across northeast NM.
Cooler temperatures and higher moisture invade eastern NM Tuesday with chances for afternoon thunderstorms across eastern NM increasing Wednesday and Thursday. Dry conditions remain over western NM.
