Heavy Rainfall, Severe Weather and Flood Threats for the East; Fire Weather Risk for the West

A slow moving storm system will affect the eastern third of the country through Friday. Thunderstorms, some severe, accompanied by heavy rainfall may result in flooding. For the Pacific Northwest, approaching storm system may bring some severe weather threats and dry thunderstorms for portions of Nevada for the risk of wild fires.
