A slow moving front extending from the Great Lakes region into the Plains will bring snow, wintry mix, and ice accumulation north of the front from the Upper Midwest into New England, and severe weather and heavy rain south of the front. HARRISBURG HAD A MONTHLY MEAN TEMPERATURE OF 67.2 DEGREES. THE
RECORD WARMEST MAY IN HARRISBURG REMAINS 1991 WHEN THE MONTHLY
MEAN TEMPERATURE WAS 69.1 DEGREES. A CONTINUOUS WEATHER RECORD HAS
BEEN KEPT IN HARRISBURG SINCE 1888.

WILLIAMSPORT HAD A MONTHLY MEAN TEMPERATURE OF 65.9 DEGREES. THE
RECORD WARMEST MAY IN WILLIAMSPORT REMAINS 1944 WHEN THE MONTHLY
MEAN TEMPERATURE WAS 67.4 DEGREES. A CONTINUOUS WEATHER RECORD HAS
BEEN KEPT IN WILLIAMSPORT SINCE 1895.
