Heavy Rain and Flooding in Florida; Unsettled Weather in the West

A stationary front will produce thunderstorms and heavy rainfall that could lead to local flooding across the Florida Peninsula through midweek. A strong Pacific storm will bring unsettled weather to much of the Western U.S. through Thursday. Heavy rainfall may result in isolated flash flooding near burn scars and sensitive terrain. A tornado touched down at the north shore of Pymatuning Reservoir, near Linesville, and moved four miles east-northeast. A woman was crushed under a trailer.
