Snow Continues in the Great Lakes; Above Normal Temperatures in the West

Lake effect snow will continue into the weekend as two more quick moving systems will bring widespread snow to the Upper Great Lakes. High winds are expected across portions of Montana through the weekend. We are seeking college students to volunteer at our office for Spring Semester 2025.

The deadline for applications for volunteering in the Spring of 2025 is

Friday, November 1, 2024.

The goal of our Student Volunteer Program is to allow the volunteer to gain experience in the operations of a National Weather Service Forecast Office and a River Forecast Center.

Interested students should review the flyer below, be prepared to upload a cover letter, resume, and transcript, and fill out the application form.
