Isolated severe storms are possible across parts of the Florida Peninsula and the Great Lakes to Lower Missouri Valley and south-central Plains late this afternoon and early evening. We are seeking college students to volunteer for our office for the Summer and Fall of 2026.

The deadline for applications for volunteering in the Summer or Fall of 2026 is

March 15th at 11:59 PM ET.

The goal of our Student Volunteer Program is to allow the volunteer to gain experience in the operations of the Middle Atlantic River Forecast Center and the NWS State College Weather Forecast Office.

Interested students should review this flyer, be prepared to upload a cover letter, resume, and transcript, and fill out this application form.
