Weather Forecast Office
Beginning January 10, 2024 the KLTX WSR-88D operated by NOAA’s National Weather Service
in Wilmington, NC will be down for approximately two to three weeks for the installation of a new radome.
During the downtime, adjacent radars will be available, including: KCAE – Columbia SC, KRAX
– Raleigh, NC, KMHX – Morehead City, NC, and KCLX – Charleston, SC. For direct access to
