A few severe thunderstorms will be possible from mid-morning through early afternoon Monday, mainly along and south of the Interstate Twenty corridor. The main risk with any severe storms will be hail up to quarter size and wind gusts up to 60 mph.
Some severe storms may be possible Tuesday night as a cold front approaches the region from the northwest. Some storms may develop ahead of the front in the moist and unstable airmass present.
Confidence is increasing that severe storms will occur on Wednesday ahead of a cold front that will move through the region. At this time, damaging winds and hail will be the primary concern but a tornado cannot be ruled out. Check back for the latest updates as timing or impacts may change.
