Dry conditions and gusty winds will result in increased fire danger on Sunday. Extra caution is advised for outdoor burning due to these increasing fire danger conditions.
Some severe storms may be possible late Tuesday afternoon into Tuesday night as a cold front approaches the region from the northwest. Some storms may develop ahead of the front in the moist and unstable airmass present.
Confidence is increasing that severe storms will occur on Wednesday ahead of a cold front that will move through the region. At this time, damaging winds and hail will be the primary concern but tornadoes cannot be ruled out. Check back for the latest updates as timing or impacts may change.
Today will be sunny with highs in the 60s. Some clouds will begin to increase from the west late in the afternoon and early evening.
Rain and some storms will move in from the west late tonight. Overnight lows will be in the upper 40s and lower 50s across the area.
Rain and some storms will be possible early in the day with afternoon highs reaching the upper 60s and lower 70s. Some mid-70s may be possible in the South.
