Thanksgiving will be pleasant with cooler temperatures that feel more like fall. Highs will be in the 60s. Overnight into Friday morning, lows will be in the 30s/upper 40s inland and 50s near the coast.

Rain chances return Saturday, peak Saturday night, then taper down Sunday as a front moves off the coast.

Scattered to widespread showers and thunderstorms are expected late Saturday into Sunday morning as a cold front pushes into Southeast Texas. Some storms will have the potential to becoming strong to severe and be capable of producing all severe hazards. Locally heavy rainfall will also be possible in any of the stronger storms.
