A preliminary summary of the damage survey for one of Monday's confirmed tornadoes in NW Houston. This tornado near Riata Ranch was found to have caused EF-1 damage, with peak winds up to 105 mph.

A preliminary summary of the damage survey for one of Monday's confirmed tornadoes in NW Houston. This tornado near Klein was found to have caused EF-2 damage, with peak winds up to 125 mph.

Small Craft Advisory in effect Until 12:00 AM Thursday 11/27 locations High Island to Matagorda Shipping Channel | 0-60 NM SEAS 4-6 ft near shore 5-8 ft off shore WIND NE 15-25 KT Gusts 30KT Wind and wave conditions will be hazardous for small craft. Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller vessels, should avoid navigating in these conditions.

Thanksgiving should be pleasant with cooler temperatures that feel more like fall. Highs will be in the 60s/lower 70s. Overnight into Friday morning, lows will be in the 30s/upper 40s inland and 50s near the coast.
