Dangerous Heat Continues Across the South; Severe Storms Possible in the Plains

Heat Advisories and Excessive Heat Warnings are in effect for much of the southern U.S. through Tuesday. Otherwise, scattered severe thunderstorms with damaging winds and large hail are possible across portions of the southern and central High Plains.
