KLBB Radar
Total rainfall through Saturday evening is shaping up a little less on the Caprock, where generally a half-inch or less is expected, while areas off the Caprock can expect a half-inch or more.
Showers and thunderstorms will begin to clear from west to east this morning into the afternoon. A cold front will move into the far southwestern Texas Panhandle by the late morning and will be through the region by late afternoon. This will help cool overnight lows into the 30s and 40s.
Drier and warmer conditions return Sunday and continue through next week. Winds will also be relatively strong, and elevated to critical fire danger is expected each day from Tuesday through Thursday.
