Inclement Weather in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast; Below Normal Temperatures Continue

A strong cold front will bring heavy wet snow from the eastern Great Lakes into northern New England and strong thunderstorms with damaging winds in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast. Well below average temperatures will continue behind this storm system or east of the Rockies, as numerous record low temperatures are likely.
