Severe Thunderstorms and Heavy Rainfall Across the Midwest into the Great Lakes Region; Significant Heat in the Southwest

Strong to severe storms may produce damaging winds, isolated hail, and a few tornadoes from the Midwest into the lower Great Lakes. These storms may also produce areas of heavy rain and flash flooding. Significant heat will continue across parts of the Desert Southwest into western Texas and north Alaska. If there are Red Flag Warnings or Fire Weather Watches on the clicked area, the text for those will show up in the first tab. Otherwise this tab will not show up.
A tab with the Fire Weather Forecast Discussion and the forecast for the Fire Weather Zone clicked upon will be in the second tab.
A color coded Fire Weather Matrix will show up in the next tab. Some offices have created custom thresholds for the matrix. Otherwise, "default" parameters will be used. Note: This information covers the area on the map within the "green square".
The final tab has a 3 hourly point forecast matrix for the next 6 days. Note: This information covers the area on the map within the "green square".
