Fire Weather Issues; Pacific System Moving Inland

Dry fuels, strong winds and dry weather will continue to bring elevated to critical fire weather conditions to the areas of the Plains, Midwest and Southeast today. A Pacific storm system will bring low elevation rain and heavy high elevation mountain snow to California through early week, expanding into the Pacific Northwest, Great Basin, and southern California on Tuesday. There are 2 ways to get information from this map:

Clicking on the map.

After that, 3 or 4 tabs will open up below the map:

If there are Red Flag Warnings or Fire Weather Watches on the clicked area, the text for those will show up in the first tab. Otherwise this tab will not show up.
A tab with the Fire Weather Forecast Discussion and the forecast for the Fire Weather Zone clicked upon will be in the second tab.
A color coded Fire Weather Matrix will show up in the next tab. Some offices have created custom thresholds for the matrix. Otherwise, "default" parameters will be used. Note: This information covers the area on the map within the "green square".
The final tab has a 3 hourly point forecast matrix for the next 6 days. Note: This information covers the area on the map within the "green square".
