Heavy Rain in the Southeast and Portions of the Central Plains; Mountain Snow in the West

Scattered areas of heavy rain continue to produce isolated flash flooding across the coastlines of the central Gulf and Southeast. A storm system will bring mountain snow, locally heavy rain, gusty winds and much cooler temperatures to portions of the western and central U.S. Above average temperatures will advance eastward into the Great Lakes and Northeast today and Monday. There are 2 ways to get information from this map:

Entering a lat/lon in decimal degrees in the appropriate boxes.
Clicking on the map.

After that, 3 or 4 tabs will open up below the map:

If there are Red Flag Warnings or Fire Weather Watches on the clicked area, the text for those will show up in the first tab. Otherwise this tab will not show up.
A tab with the Fire Weather Forecast Discussion and the forecast for the Fire Weather Zone clicked upon will be in the second tab.
A color coded Fire Weather Matrix will show up in the next tab. Some offices have created custom thresholds for the matrix. Otherwise, "default" parameters will be used. Note: This information covers the area on the map within the "green square".
The final tab has a 3 hourly point forecast matrix for the next 6 days. Note: This information covers the area on the map within the "green square".
