Spring Severe Thunderstorms, Excessive Rainfall, and Snow Early This Week

Scattered strong to severe thunderstorms are possible Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon and evening from east Texas into western Alabama. Damaging winds, large hail, and a couple of tornadoes will be possible. Excessive rainfall in this area may lead to flooding as well. A color coded Fire Weather Matrix will show up in the next tab. Some offices have created custom thresholds for the matrix. Otherwise, "default" parameters will be used. Note: This information covers the area on the map within the "green square".
The final tab has a 3 hourly point forecast matrix for the next 6 days. Note: This information covers the area on the map within the "green square".
