Heavy Rainfall and Flooding Concerns in the Southwest; Coastal Low to Impact the East Coast

Deep tropical moisture will lead to widespread showers and thunderstorms capable of producing flash flooding through early next week over the Southwest and Four Corners. A coastal storm is expected to impact the southeast U.S. coast and mid-Atlantic regions with flooding, dangerous rip currents, gusty winds and heavy rain up much of the East Coast through early next week. After that, 3 or 4 tabs will open up below the map:

If there are Red Flag Warnings or Fire Weather Watches on the clicked area, the text for those will show up in the first tab. Otherwise this tab will not show up.
A tab with the Fire Weather Forecast Discussion and the forecast for the Fire Weather Zone clicked upon will be in the second tab.
A color coded Fire Weather Matrix will show up in the next tab. Some offices have created custom thresholds for the matrix. Otherwise, "default" parameters will be used. Note: This information covers the area on the map within the "green square".
The final tab has a 3 hourly point forecast matrix for the next 6 days. Note: This information covers the area on the map within the "green square".
