Mostly dry conditions throughout the day with cloud cover gradually increasing from southwest to northeast later in the day. High temperatures mainly in the mid 70s to low 80s. Low temperatures mainly in the upper 50s to mid 60s. Rain chances gradually increasing overnight in the Brazos Valley/Piney Woods.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected late Monday into Tuesday as another disturbance and associated cold front pushes through Southeast TX. Some storms will have the potential to becoming strong to severe. In addition, locally heavy rain will be possible. The greatest risk of strong to severe storms will generally be along and north of the I-10 corridor.
Isolated to scattered rain showers in the morning through early afternoon hours. High temperatures mainly in the low to mid 80s. Line of showers/storms begins to push into the area in the mid-afternoon hours as a cold front approaches. Some storms may become strong to severe and capable of producing locally heavy rainfall through early Tuesday morning. Low temperatures range from the upper 50s to upper 60s.
