Drought Conditions Intensify

Some patchy early morning fog, otherwise mostly sunny. Highs in the 80s. South-southwest winds 10-20 mph.

Areas of fog, especially west of Interstate 45 and along the Interstate 10 corridor. Visibilities may drop to or below 1 mile at times. Lows 58-68°.

As conditions continue to warm into the weekend, we'll begin to trend closer to record high temperatures for the City of Houston. While records for Saturday look pretty safe, breaking the record high for Sunday looks more likely than not!

Drought conditions continue to expand across southeast Texas. Low rain chances will return to the forecast beginning early next week.
