There are no watches, warnings, or advisories at this time.

Seasonal temperatures underneath mostly sunny skies. High temperatures in the mid 60s to low 70s across the area. Winds will be light throughout the day, but will transition from northeasterly to southeasterly by the afternoon.
Forecast for the night of December 11, 2025: Milder overnight conditions are expected across Southeast Texas as southeasterly flow brings increasing moisture and warmth. Low temperatures will range from the low to mid-50s inland, while coastal areas will see temperatures in the upper 50s. Residents near the coast should be aware that patchy fog is possible.
Looking ahead to Friday, December 12, 2025, NWS Houston forecasts a warming trend as warm air surges inland. "Fall-like" weather is expected to return with afternoon high temperatures climbing into the low to mid-70s north of I-10, and reaching the mid to upper 70s south of I-10. Specific highs include 75°F in Houston, 78°F in Sugar Land and Wharton, and 74°F in College Station.
Forecast for Friday night, December 12, 2025: The warming trend persists, with overnight lows staying in the mid-50s to low 60s across Southeast Texas. As moisture increases, residents should prepare for areas of fog developing Friday night into Saturday morning, which may become dense at times. Specific low temperatures include 61°F in Houston and Galveston, and 54°F in College Station. "Patchy Sea Fog" is explicitly highlighted along the coastline.
As warm, humid air begins to pool around the coast ahead of the weekend's front, we will have some potential for sea fog to crop up. While the first patches may be as early as Friday morning, the best potential will be Friday night and Saturday night before the front pushes offshore.
The NWS Houston Five Day Outlook highlights a temperature rollercoaster. A warming trend will persist through Saturday, with highs reaching the 70s across much of the region. However, a cold front arriving Saturday night into Sunday morning will usher in "winter-like temperatures," dropping Sunday highs into the 50s and 60s. By Sunday night, lows could dip near or below freezing in the Piney Woods. Isolated light showers are possible along and south of I-10 ahead of the front.
