Small Craft Advisory In effect until Midnight (12 AM Friday) Locations: Galveston and Matagorda Bay Gulf Waters SEAS: 3-4 ft near shore. 4-5 ft offshore. Rough bay waters. WIND: N 20 KT. 25 KT GUSTS. Wind and wave conditions will be hazardous for small craft. Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller vessels, should avoid navigating in these conditions.

Tonight will be cool with scattered showers, mainly offshore. Lows for Friday morning will be in the 30s/40s.

Friday will be cloudy with rounds of showers, mainly in areas over the coast. Highs will be in the upper 40s/lower 50s. Lows for Saturday morning will drop into the lower 40s/lower 50s.

Showers tapering off Friday into the weekend. Overall cooler, more seasonable weather.
