Marginal Risk (level 1 of 5) of Severe Weather for most of Southeast Texas. Marginal Risk (level 1 of 4) of Excessive Rainfall for all of Southeast Texas. Lingering showers/storms possible into Sunday.

Isolated to scattered showers and storms, mainly along and east of I-45. Otherwise, mostly cloudy and warm.

Shower and thunderstorm chances increase as the day progresses and a cold front begins moving into the area.

Colder and breezy. Mostly cloudy. Rain and storms will persist around areas south of I-10.

Expect daily rain and storm chances, with the highest probability of thunderstorms this weekend as a cold front moves through the region. After Sunday, expect more seasonal temperatures through midweek.
